minecraft tutorial - building a manor - part 2 for this part you will need some bricks (not necessary), many stone slabs and many stone bricks stairs, slabs and blocs. we start the first side of the roof that will be done with stone bricks stairs here the stairs are only useful for the construction of the the roof we do the same on the other side on the top of the roof we put one layer of stone bricks slabs now you'll simply have to connect the two sides with each other, but i'm not going to do it on camera so that we gain some time once this part of the roof is finished, we can begin the second part of the roof with an update of minecraft, this isn't necessary anymore, but i'm going to put a block where the stairs connect

i do the same everywhere (you don't need to) at this height we are going to put slabs on the top so that the roof isn't too "sharp" and this is why these stairs weren't useful! we can destroy them we do the same on the other side, and i will make that on my side now we can make some borders that stand out on the roof so that it looks better to finish we do kind of a delimitation of the two floors with stone slabs we make it 10 blocs high (half of this actual height) once again i'll make it alone so that we don't lose time this part is up to you, i'm adding it but you don't have to if you think it looks strange
