my name is xavier pottiez. i have a workshop of furniture specialized in kitchens and interior design. we are based in paris 12th and our workshop is located in belgium. we mainly work with individuals, but increasingly

with professionals: architects and interior designers. we especially work with oak, stone, metal, and leather: all natural materials. this project is the second realization that we made for these clients. the goal was to fit out the space with a kitchen and a dining room.

this is a haussmann flat. the wish was to have the most natural wood as possible by preserving all the knots, with an unity of shades between the stone and wood. a slightly gnarled oak was processed with a black tint and protected with a white oil,

"in order to obtain this ""salt & pepper"" aspect." for each project, a tree is chosen in able to minimize offcuts according to the size of the project. we are watchful to have sufficient material in a single tree for the whole project. the goal is to have harmonious colours from one furniture to another. i believe that, within the team,

the idea that our work will carry on over time is something very strong.
